How to Install fingerd software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

fingerd software package provides remote user information server, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install fingerd 

fingerd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the fingerd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fingerd *

You will get with fingerd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
